TuneWiki Official Forums: iphone TuneWiki lyrics not working even though they were yesterday

Hi all,

Just after some help please.

Recently purchased an iphone 3gs and installed TuneWiki on it. I played a song (Red Hot Chili Peppers - The Power of Equality) and the lyrics displayed perfectly and I was well impressed! Awesome!

Anyhow I have since installed more songs through itunes and unfortunately now no lyrics show up for any songs. All I get is an Empty Lyrics Screen with the red (refresh?) arrows and down the bottom it says 'end' with the 4 little square dots either side.

No error messages or anything.

I have removed the application and then put it back on through the app store. I am connected to the net as safari works. Auto Hide Lyrics and Disable lyrics are both set to OFF. I have also switched the phone off and on..

Can someone please tell me how to fix this so I can get the lyrics back and get this excellent app back up and running again?

Additionally, I have added some more songs and have been playing around with it. Surprisingly other songs work....

so...

I went back to the original ones and changed the artist name from 'Red Hot Chili Peppers' to 'The Red Hot Chili Peppers' and funny enough some lyrics came up although they were not in time with the song as they were last time for the same song. (And I never changed the name from 'The Red Hot Chili Peppers' to 'Red Hot Chili Peppers', it wasn't until I started playing around with it after it stopped working that I did this..)

So my question is.. is the wikitunes that sensitive to names that it won't ignore things like 'the' in the search for lyrics? Seems a bit crazy if this is the case because, as in this case, the bands name is 'Red Hot Chili Peppers' not 'THE Red Hot Chili Peppers'....

Also just on my previous posts, I wasn't getting told there was no lyrics for the song or the screen staying blank as it seems to do for other songs that don't have words in them. Instead is did have the lyrics screen open with no lyrics and just 'end'.

A bug in the system or am I doing something wrong?

of red hot Chili peppers.

The publishers of Red Hot Chili Peppers have asked us to not store lyrics their on our system and as we are a legal service we must comply with their requests.
