major issues with tunewiki on blackberry storm

I need some help in troubleshooting tunewiki on my blackberry stom. Listed below are the issues that I am having

1. 90 % of the time when I am trying to use internet radio and browse through stations, I am getting no sound. The album cover picture loads, name of the song, lyrics which freeze constantly, but no sound. I maybe heard the sound of the music once or twice since I purchased the app, but that ends up freezing anyway.

2. When I try to use the video option in the application, it generates an error message when I try to play any of the results. Gives me an error saying "player error invalid page"

So of now, I am very frustrated with this application and it is not doing what it is supposed to be doing. The sound of the music hardly comes around, and the video option is freezing.

Can someone guide me the right way to a proper running program. I try to re-install the program with the blackberry storm link you guys provided, but with no success. I tryed to reinstall tunewiki pro from the the bb app store with no success. I also changed all permission in advanced options to "allow" with no success.

Thanks for looking into it

I had some technical support guy from either tunewiki or bb. Most likely I think it was one of your guys. Anyways, the person advised me to increase the volume by side volume keys. That's an obvious thing to do and I already tried that earlier with no success. They advised me to tune into stations that have low kbs, like 32 kbs for example. Tryed that with no success. They also advised to wait a while to let the station buffer. I waited like 10 mins with no success. It seems like this application just does not want to work for me. No internet radio stations want to come on. They show the album cover, very very slow lyrics, but no sound. Im also getting error messages of "uncaught exception" or something like that every now and then when the application seems to time out.

I think the application looks very cool and I like that there is alot of radio stations. Unfortunately for me, I cant enjoy these stations like everyone else. So help figure this out thanks

Hello again.

What OS are you running on your device?

We have a new version that will fix the video issue, but it takes time for it to get to "app world" because of the review process.

Hey I am running OS v4.7.0.122 (platform 4.0.0.153)

This new version you speak of, will it also help the issues I am having in regards to hearing the sound that is supposed to be coming from the radio stations?

Im just giving an update. A support person from tune wiki sent me the link to download a test version he claims is tune wiki pro even though it doesn't come up as tune wiki pro on my blackberry. Just comes up as tune wiki. In any case, the test version, which is the latest version, fixed the video problem and I have sound coming out of the videos being played. I am still having problems with the internet radio and stations not wanting to play after a period of time buffering. Can you give me a status update and let me know what point are you guys at in fixing my particular problem and is there any hope.

Giving you guys an update status on my situation. So the internet radio now is partially working. Some stations work, but majority don't. There seems to be alot of good stations I noticed when I was browsing through. Its a shame that only 4 stations out of the so many work when I attempt to play them. Is there a reason why so many internet radio stations don't work? Does the program still have bugs that need to worked out in order to get all of the stations working? The only other similar program to tune wiki on bb app and it got worse reviews, is Flycast. Flycast is pretty good because all of the stations I go on work. There is not as many as tune wiki, but they all work. Whats the point of having tune wiki if you can only play 4 stations out of 100 trys? Is there anything you guys can do for me and others about this problem?

Hello Louis, the forum administrator that deals with people's claims on here. I'm just wondering why my issue and your guys feedback to help me out has gone dormant. Its been almost a week now and nobody is following up on my issue nor giving me a solid answer to tell me what could be going on. If this is how tune wiki deals with their customers who have purchased the program, then obviously tune wiki has poor customer service. I see you replying to other people's problems and keeping on top of things. But in my case, it's like you guys have given up on me because you cant figure out whats going on with tune wiki pro on my bb storm. If you care to look, the last 2 posts before this one explains where I am at now with my issue which is has not been resolved.

Hi Carlos,
you seem to be running the wrong version of the app on your phone, try uninstalling the one you have and re-installing from www.tunewiki.com/twbb
Let us know if this does not repair the issue.
Thanks,

Ziv.

Hello Hershey

You should be able to download TuneWiki on your Storm2 from the BlackBerry App World.
