I have around 20 songs in my storm, just downloaded Tunewiki, after scanning it shows only 3 songs and doesn't even display the lyrics for any.
Please help me sort this out, is there any restriction as to where the music should be downloaded from?

Hi Storm

TuneWiki cannot play DRM protected music. Is your music from iTunes or something like that?

I have 164 songs that are DRM free and I am not able find a single song either. I downloaded from Blackberry's App World (which did not specify a storm version) and also from http://www.tunewiki.com/twbbs

The version from App World did not get passed scanning (1 hour + and never finished)

The version from tunewiki.com finished scanning but found no results. However in checking the native blackberry media player all 164 songs were recognized.
Thanks in advance for your help.

I just resolved the issue. Please refer to the following:

1) For consistency please download the appropriate version of Tunewiki for Blackberry here: http://www.tunewiki....blackberry.aspx
I suggest this as I have no idea what version of Tunewiki BlackBerry's App World is providing. (Storm or otherwise)

2) Upon downloading the mobile app the defaulted permissions are set to custom or deny. They need to be changed to Allow. This can be accomplished at the point of downloading the app by checking off the "set permissions" option.

3) Otherwise, storm users who already downloaded the app can access the options> Advanced Options> Applications> highlight Tunewiki> press the BlackBerry Menu button> Edit Permissions and set all to "Allow"

4) Starting the tunewiki app in the download folder the app will prompt a scan. This scan should take a few minutes at most. I have 164 songs and it was roughly 30 seconds.

5) Pick a song and enjoy the functionality

Note: I noticed that some think that the DRM files are to blame. I do not think this true as many of 164 songs on my SD card were downloaded from Apple's itunes. Additionally Apple now using DRM free music - see reference: http://www.macworld....01/drm_faq.html

Yes, but if you bought your music before it was all upgraded to DRM free then you will have to purchase the DRM free versions for 50c each.

I had the version from the BB App store, wouldn't work. Seen the thread and removed old version, then tried to install the Storm specific version. Now, when I attempt to run the program, I get "uncaught exception: aa" and the program won't even run...any ideas?

Try installing the app from here: http://www.tunewiki.com/twbbs

Let me know how it goes. :)

Thanks, that fixed it....now it appears to be working. If there are any problems, I'll repost. Thanks again!
