Hello,

recently I installed tuneWiki 0.4.201 (latest version from Nokia OVI store) on my Nokia N8 (running Symbian^3).

Playback of shoutcast radio stations is fine until some multitasking is done (unlocking screensaver, pressing menu button of phone, starting other apps, ...).
Playback will be interrupted for some time (one or more seconds).
Problem gets worse with high datarate stations and is better with low datarate stations but always there.

Playback of music in local library is always fine.

Does anybody else experience this on Nokia N8 or Symbian^3 phone ?
Is it possible to increase transmission buffer size for shoutcast radio in tunesWiki ?
Or give tunesWiki higher priority for transmission of data ?
lastFM mobbler is working fine during multitasking with buffer size set to 1 second, even during heavy multitasking (surfing internet/downloading).

Thanks for making tuneWiki, it is a great app and i would like to have it run all the time, but w/o working multitasking it`s not much of use...

I would like increased buffer too. I am experiencing interruption of playback during multitasking too. But this doesn't bother me as much as interruption during los of signal. I use to hike in near forest and there the signal is not so good so playback of internet radio on tunewiki is not so good. But with my old phone and Nokia internet radio I had no problems. So I first tried Nokia internet radio for N8 but sound is awfull. So I found tunewiki and was very happy with it. Also I have no problem with listening to tunewiki internet radio in urban area where umts signal is good.

I think best settings would be such as to match below settings in winamp player -->


I find these settings best for listening to internet radio on UMTS connection, where a connection is not so stable.

I guess there was new version of tunewiki released, because there is no stuttering any more.

I have the same problem on samsung i8910 even with latest version, it is stuttering on 3G+ network in the city or when i lock the screen ... I really love tunewiki, but I cant use it when it is stuttering every 30s
