Lyric legend help please! Can't figure it out

Umm right before I click on the app there's a circle with a "3" in it and I have no idea what it's for.. Please help I'm so confused.

Hello Alyssa

That number refers to the number of new packs available in the Lyric Legend Song Store.

If you open the song store and view the new packs, that number should go away. :)
