Hi,
I am using the program Tasker (http://tasker.dinglisch.net). It allows to generate automatic tasks for special events. It also allows a task for the event "Headset plugged in". I want my Android to automaticly start WikiTunes and lets start music. But Tasker can not control WikiTunes, so I can only start the program, but it is not possible to start playback or to create a playlist or shuffle playback and so on. The WikiTunes Developers have to modify their program, to let Tasker control it and get information about it. It is described in http://tasker.dingli...developers.html whats to do to enable this great feature.
Please enable Tasker compatibility and make me very happy :-)

Hi,
Just wanted to give some support on this being a wanted feature; using this app with tasker integration would make for the ultimate experience.
Specifically, if this could provide access to play commands for certain parameters (ie which songs, play lists, or random shuffle), and to status variables ("is a song currently playing?") that'd be amazing.
Out of curiosity, given the previous comment, do you know if this puya actually being worked on for the next version?
Thanks!
Yoni
