I'm not entirely sure as I don't have an Android device myself.
I'll pass this topic along to someone who can assist you.

I have just been informed that since TuneWiki version 2.0 on Android, the library refreshes automatically.
You do not need to manually refresh it.

Agree with 'grunt'. I have version 2.1 and it only seems to update if the phone is rebooted, so when is it supposed to update. Please consider adding a way to scan for new music and also a files mode to directly access the files would be a useful option.
Please address this as the player is exceptional and only let down by its inability to discover new files.
Regards.

The response of 'I have just been informed that since TuneWiki version 2.0 on Android, the library refreshes automatically. You do not need to manually refresh it.' is pointless as we obviously do need to refresh it.
Some reply from the suppliers would be welcomed here as tunewiki is not the only android mp3 player.

As I said before, you don't need to refresh it. There is no schedule. It is instant.
The music will not appear in TuneWiki if it is stored in a folder with a dot at the beginning of its name or if it is one of the device's predefined folders.
The best way to get around this issue is to make a folder called 'TuneWiki' in the root directory of your device and store all of your music in there.

Fully understand the 'dot' function, but music is in a folder in root, call 'Music' and it is only refreshed on phone re-boot, post power-down. I do not call that instant or controllable.

Do you mount the SDcard to the PC and copy songs over and then disconnect the device from the PC?
Or do you use adb and push files over?
