My features suggestions.
  • Portrait & landscape option
  • Album art option to retrieve local art vs. fetching through online connection
  • Better album art placement. The album art always gets cut off at the top because of the songs progress bar.
  • Option to delete song file
  • Playback pauses when headphone is unplugged and resumes or starts player when plugged in. Having JUST experienced this when I received a call, unplugging the headphones, finishing the call and having the song continue playing through my speakers in a quiet office did not make me happy
  • Better battery management. I haven’t really seen much complaints about this, but compared to the Droids stock music player its eats a lots of my battery
  • The ability to navigate music with swipe gestures (left/right) to skip to the next song.

The above is not listed in any particular order…

I think these things will enrich an already rocking app.

Thanks for all the hard work so far!

Great feedback! I can say that numbers 1, 2, 4, and 5 are almost finished, and will be in the next build. For number 6, we have made the application much more agressive about shutting down when you're not playing music, so that should help a little. And for number 3 and 7, good feedback, we'll take note.

Thanks again!

5 would be great!
and 7 is unnecessary but would look really cool :P

Agreed on #5!!! Especially since the widget can be a bit laggy sometimes. When my headphone cord pops out inconveniently I have to furiously hit the volume down button until it mutes.

As I've said in a previous post, the ability to view what album is playing is also key.
