Not sure if this is even possible, but would be great if so.

Player screen does not rotate on Motorola Droid

I recently installed Tunewiki on my Motorola Droid, and I'm loving it so far.

However, I've noticed that the actual player screen (the one with album art, lyrics, and playback controls) does not auto-rotate when the device is turned sideways. All of the other UI screens rotate as expected, but the player always remains in "portrait" mode, no matter which way the device is turned.

I was wondering if this functionality may be included in future versions. I tend to keep my Droid's car dock in "sideways" orientation, since it makes Android's built-in navigation much easier to use, and I'd rather not have to turn my head sideways to see song titles.

Thanks!

Playlist imports not fully functional

I was able to import my playlists from iTunes, and they are visible in the app. I can even play the existing songs on those playlists in the app. However, not all of my music is in a playlist, and if I want to add it to a playlist, the only option I see is to create a new playlist. Apparantly my imported playlists do not appear as "existing" playlists. Is this a universal problem, or just me? Any fix? Using the DROID btw.

I read in another Thread in this Forum, that tunewiki chooses the album art of the mp3 file if it is available. In my case tunewiki never displays the album art from my mp3 files. It always downloads a cover from the net.
Is there a way to change this? As I said, the picture is included in the mp3 file and not a jpg in the folder.

Pause between tracks

Hi there,

I have TuneWiki (latest version I think - no updates shown in App Market) installed on my HTC Hero. Just today I noticed that the player would pause indefinitely between tracks until I pressed a button on the handset - i.e. the screen had locked during the first track, I press the Home button and the next track starts. It was doing that all the way on my commute home - although it was fine this morning while listening at work.

I haven't used it since, or restarted it yet, but just thought I would post to see if anyone else has had the same problem.

[Feedback] Search by directory and album

Hi,

I was looking for a good application on my android phone, and i found Tune Wiki.
This one is verry good, because of the lyrics search and Album art search, but i have two evolution which i think would be great.

- The first one is to be able to play a folder.
You will have a browser to go through the SD cards, and the phone memory, and when you have found a directory, you just have to play it.
With the basics function : Next / Forward / Play / Pause.
I think it's not very hard to develop this, and there's no application which do that for the moment.

- The second one is to be able to read album
I know it's possible for the moment, but my problem is that, i have CD's with differents Artist. So, when i want to listen to the album, Tune Wiki only read song per song.

Except that, this application is amazing

Thanks a lot =)

Android app gave me a broken account

Hi,

I just installed the tunewiki android application, and it seemed to make sense to register an account through it, so I did.

I then came to the website and tried to log in, but it rejected my e-mail and password. So, I tried to register again, but it stated the e-mail was already registered.

All right, I went back and selected the option to recover my password. But then it popped up a window saying recovery failed due to an unknown error!

I think there might be a bug with account registration in the android app.

Resolved: XM Radio on Mytouch 3g?

Is it possible for an XM Radio subscriber (with online access added) to listen to XM Radio Online with the myTouch with TuneWiki? I've googled and searched these forums but I haven't found a lot of information. I'm leaning heavily towards switching to the myTouch from a Blackberry but XM Radio support is a deal breaker for me; not for the music, but for the comedy talk channels (the Virus, etc). Thanks.

album broken by artists

i have the Hairspray [2007 Soundtrack] album in my library. it used to just show once in my library under albums. a few updates back (probably 2 months ago) i noticed that it now lists the album several times in the library, the only difference is the artist listed underneath.

so now i have something like this:

Hairspray [2007 Soundtrack]
Nikki Blonsky

Hairspray [2007 Soundtrack]
James Marsden

Hairspray [2007 Soundtrack]
Zac Efron

etc.

it seems to be grouping by artists and dividing up the album in to several albums. this sucks because it puts the album out of order and you can't just click on the album name to hear the whole thing.

is this a bug or a setting i missed somewhere? like i said, it didn't used to do this and nothing has changed in my play list. i also check the meta data through windows and saw they all still have the exact same album field.

Search on Youtube error

Yesterday everything worked fine but since this morning when I click on "See this Song on Youtube" (for example in TuneWiki Community, the top 50 songs of all countries) doesn't return any result. This is because in the Artist field it always appears "youtube_gdata" and in the Title field appears the name of the artist instead of the song's name.

Anybody know why this happen? How to solve it?

Lyrics does not sync

Hi! I'm an editor and a few days ago I updated the lyrics of a song. On the website the lyrics that show up are the ones that I updated, but on the lyrics/sync pane I still see the original ones.
As soon as I log into the system with my credentials, the old lyrics are removed and my lyrics are shown up in both the lyrics section and the lyrics/sync pane.. But if I look at the song without been logged into the system I don't see the new lyrics in the lyrics/sync pane. BTW, I have synced the new lyrics with the video/music on the website.

On my myTouch regardless of if I'm logged in or not with my TuneWiki account, I'm still seeing the original lyrics with the old sync, not the ones that I updated on the website.
How can I get my phone's lyrics to sync with the ones that I updated on the website?
Artist: Rojo
Album: + 24.7
Song: Hasta que ya no respires mas.

I have not tried with any other song yet.

Thanks,
